Purpose of consultation

Fife Council have been allocated funding from the Scottish Future’s Trust to construct a new purpose built secondary school in the Levenmouth area, to maximise the benefits for pupils within the whole community.

The new, single site, purpose built school would involve merging the catchment areas of both Kirkland and Buckhaven High Schools to form a new single catchment area and new build school, tailored to meet the needs of the whole of the Levenmouth and landward community.

We are now carrying out a statutory consultation on the proposal to construct a secondary school in the Levenmouth area on the grounds of Buckhaven High School and merge the two catchment areas.

To have your say on the proposal please complete the following questionnaire.  The questionnaire should take 5 minutes to complete.
