Purpose of consultation
The Association of Directors of Education in Scotland (ADES) is carrying out a survey of all Directors of Education in Scotland to gather information about current practices of educational support for children and young people of Armed Forces families in Scottish schools. Such a collection of data has not been previously undertaken therefore it is important to now consider what structures, systems and approaches are being used to support the education of service children.
The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete and the information gathered will be reported to ADES and will serve to guide a network of Local Authority representatives and support the role of the National Transitions Officer.
